溫哥華 — ABC溫哥華市長候選人沈觀健發表了以下聲明，以回應市長肯尼迪·斯圖爾特迴避和否認存在實施溫哥華市道路稅的計劃。
“今天，肯尼迪·斯圖爾特發起了新的攻擊，他再次迴避和否認了在溫哥華市實施道路稅的問題。
“肯尼迪·斯圖爾特從來沒有說過他反對徵收道路稅，但他現在卻試圖隱瞞他投了贊成票的事實。他唯一的辯護是暗示實施道路稅是“假新聞”。
“肯尼迪·斯圖爾特市長進一步表示，市政府無權徵收道路稅。 但他知道這個說法是假的。
“在2021年，城市經理薩杜·約翰斯頓（Sadhu Johnston）提供了幾種可以尋求實施道路稅的選擇。此外，在實施特定城市的道路定價計劃方面，他告訴肯尼迪·斯圖爾特（Kennedy Stewart）“有辦法利用我們現在擁有的權力來完成這種類型的安排”。
